Once, long time ago, I’ve mention this database in context of possible candidate for one of the projects I’ve been working on. Back than, I was not courage enough to say it “loudly”. This occasion I will not miss: FoundationDB, the new generation of databases.
Let me give you a bit of history:
FoundationDB was started in 2009 by Nick Lavezzo, Dave Rosenthal, and Dave Scherer. The team draws on its experience in executive and technology roles at Visual Sciences (NASDAQ:VSCN, now part of Adobe) in building breakthrough data processing technologies and successful businesses.
